| Bio: | 1. He will never admit that he has a penchant for a particular hand made green tea ice cream from Hokkaido. Because real men don’t have a sweet tooth and girly desserts are unbecoming for that tough image. He will never be caught dead giving them a second glance, except when he's alone or when that special someone forces it in his hands. 2. He doesn’t like to glare as much as people think he does. He glares only because he’s not sure what other expression would get his point across. There are many different forms of his glare, one for his friends, revered captain and lover. Each subtler and gentler than the previous. 3. A man of few words, he prefers to get straight to the point. There is no reason to waste words or go around in a circle. Yet when it comes to the three little words (I Love You), Sanada becomes completely speechless. 4. Sanada dislikes corners because he can never see what was coming round the corner until it hits him. His life is about straight lines, rules and plans. In his mind, he visualizes his life in the shape of a sharp straight incline, somewhat like the dusty roads near his old mountain home. 5. He isn't as old fashioned as people think he is. True, he believes in the ancient moral codes of honor and chivalry but that doesn’t mean that he’s a stick. Sanada believes in adapting to the ever-changing environment and that nature is your friend. Once you master it, you’ll be able to conquer it, which explains his Fuu Rin Kaa Zan. 6. With changes being so common in the shallow surroundings, he cherishes the rare constant things in life. Family, friends, tennis and the beating of that one person’s heart. 7. Sanada enjoys watching people smile at him and each time someone he cares for showers him a genuine smile, he imprints it in his memory. Yet he believes it shouldn’t be dispensed so freely. He smiles only when he truly means it and when he does, it lights up the room like a beacon. 8. He believes in one true love for life. His heart is a securely guarded vault. What he doesn’t understand is how he managed to let his guard down when it comes to that special one. To him, love is a sneaky cryptic thing. 9. He hates being called the Emperor. Sanada would rather be a tall tree, widespread and deeply rooted. For the ones he loves, he will stretch to shelter, to protect and to give them relief as long as they stay near him. 10. ‘What’s etched in stone cannot be changed,’ is Sanada’s mantra, his promise for life to the people that matter.
